When it comes to financial accounting, do you feel overwhelmed? Even if you're a "numbers person," the principles of nonprofit accounting can be a bit daunting. This training will help you get grounded, with guidance and support to get started on your financial management journey. Join us for Course 1, Foundation Building, and learn how to build a solid financial foundation. 

This two-hour, hands on training will help you establish essential financial literacy with terminology, tips, and basics for financial setup to support success. This training is designed as partial lecture with exercises to allow you to practice. There will be an extra day following the session for Q&A, giving you time to absorb and metabolize what you’ve learned.

About the Speaker:

Sitori Holbrook | Accounting Services Senior Manager, Tanner LLC

Sitori has almost 10 years of public accounting experience in a variety of industries, specializing in not-for-profit accounting. Prior to Tanner, Sitori worked in industry for eight years as a controller overseeing all aspects of accounting. She has experience with a variety of accounting systems and general ledger integration software. Sitori is a founding member of Tanner’s Client Accounting Services department. She manages large accounting outsourcing projects and is skilled in business process transformation and the systems that support it as well as internal controls over financial reporting. Sitori received her bachelor’s and master’s in accounting at Westminster College. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants and serves on Tanner’s Not-for-Profit Committee as well as on the board of a local not-for-profit.
