About the Speaker: Mackey Smith

Mackey Smith is the Head of Strategy Consulting at Tanner, LLC, a Salt Lake City-based professional services firm with 250 team members. Mackey is a leadership coach and consultant to nonprofits across the United States, facilitating over 100 planning retreats and focus groups each year. His strategy work is focused on strategic planning and community-building through stakeholder involvement and recruitment. Mackey also conducts training programs for executive teams across the United States and Canada, coaching over 500 organizational executives in personal development and building effective leadership skills. In addition to his career, Mackey has served on several local government and nonprofit boards, including as an Executive Board member for the Salt Lake County Council on Diversity Affairs (CODA).
