This live, interactive session is designed for nonprofit professionals who want to learn the fundamentals of using QuickBooks to manage their finances. If you're new to QuickBooks or need a solid refresher, this course will walk you through the essential steps to set up and use QuickBooks with confidence.
You’ll learn how to:
- Choose the correct version of QuickBooks for your nonprofit’s needs
- Set up QuickBooks Online from scratch for nonprofit accounting
- Add dimensions in QuickBooks to help you track programs and events
- Navigate the QuickBooks dashboard and understand key features
- Record donations, grants, and other income accurately
- Manage expenses, bills, and reimbursements with ease
- Generate basic financial reports to track your nonprofit’s performance
This workshop is ideal for nonprofit leaders, bookkeepers, and finance staff who want to master the basics of QuickBooks to ensure their finances are in order. No prior accounting experience is needed—just a willingness to learn the tools that will help you manage your nonprofit’s financials more effectively.

About the Speaker:
Megan Bronson is an Advisory Partner who started with Squire in 2006 as she earned her Master’s of Accountancy degree from Brigham Young University in 2007. She has almost two decades of experience working with businesses across several industries, specializing in QuickBooks consulting and client accounting services for manufacturing and distribution clients. Megan is recognized nationwide for her early adoption and expertise in QuickBooks Online. She has also been recognized as a Top 100 QuickBooks ® ProAdvisor by Insightful Accountant every year since 2016.
Megan is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. She has held many positions on the board of the Kiwanis Club of Orem since 2008 and is also on the board of the Women’s Business Network of the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Megan lives in Spanish Fork, UT, with her husband and three kids. She can often be found on the field or on the court playing or coaching a sport in her spare time. She enjoys listening to books, music, sports, and spending time with family.
